Photography videos

Through watching the videos Mr. Slade showed our class, I learned many things about photography. While Neither Of these photographers Showed an empathy for nature as much as I would try for during a free choice project for which I had plenty of time, I really liked their pictures. Taryn Simon's pictures were so good, because they did more than just show us convicts, they showed us how a photograph could create a lie. Travis Lovell's pictures were so good because He really took the time to make it good and that showed, He took the time because he wanted to make something 'ugly' look beautiful, in which He succeeded. If there are two things I learned from these photographers, it is that If you take your time, You can make anything look good, and Ideas can be just as good of a subject as a place or thing.

Assignment #2

This first one, seashells I did for number 7o, took me a while to think of, this was just after my spree of looking up numbers on wikipedia. Throughout the assignment I had absolutely no Idea that I had a choice to be boring. I guess that is both a blessing and a curse.

This was number 68. It is 68 because it is the ideal temperature for developing film. Very photo oriented.

This is 67 because it is the number of counties in Florida. I partially chose it because it is bird-oriented :).

This is 38 cents. I chose both of my Coin shots and I don't entirely know why.

This one Is Pretty good compared to the rest of them as far as quality of shot/light

Despite everyone's dislike of this assignment, I though it was fun but tedious.
